"Review filtering" means asking a customer how it went before showing the review buttons. Google's policy forbids it. "Not explained" means the vendor names a filter and never describes it.

Why people leave

The limits Widewail publishes itself

Taken from our Widewail review, where each one is sourced to their own pages.

  • $500 a month per rooftop, which is about 26 times our Solo plan.
  • No free plan and no trial is mentioned.
  • "Private Customer Surveys" and "review routing" are both listed without explanation, so we cannot say whether anything is filtered.
  • No review site count and no named platforms beyond Google Business Profile.
  • If you are not a car dealer, the product is not built for you.

How we picked these

  • We read the price on each company's own website on 18 October 2026 and wrote down the date. Nothing came from a blog or a comparison article.
  • Where a company publishes no price, the list says so instead of repeating a figure from somewhere else.
  • We checked each one for review filtering, and we quote the vendor's own words rather than guessing.
  • We left in the tools that beat us, and said what they do better.
  • We put our own product on the list and labelled it, because hiding that would make this an advert.

Prices change. Check the vendor's own page before you decide anything.

Questions

Widewail alternatives, answered

How much does Widewail cost?

Core is $500 a month, Pro $750 and Customer Clarity $1,200, all per month for a single rooftop. We read these on their pricing page on 18 October 2026. Dealer group pricing is configured per group.

Is there a cheaper way to get replies written?

ReviewTrackers sells managed response services. Thryv includes a review acknowledgement service on its higher packages. Most tools now draft a reply with AI for you to approve, which costs a fraction of a person.

Does Widewail do review gating?

We cannot tell. Their packages include "Private Customer Surveys" and "review routing", neither of which the page explains. A private survey running before the review ask would be gating, so ask them the order of the steps.
