FiveStariz and Birdeye, side by side
We sell the asking. Birdeye sells a platform, and quotes by phone. Here is the difference, with the parts they win left in.
FiveStariz
From $19
a month, on our pricing page. $5 per location from 10 locations, with your own brand included.
Birdeye
No price at all
Their pricing page has no number on it. You fill in a form to get one.
Read on birdeye.com/pricing on 17 October 2026. Prices change, so check theirs before you decide.
What Birdeye does that we do not
- Reviews, listings, social, surveys, webchat and payments in 1 platform
- Built for companies with hundreds of locations
- A sales team and people who set it up for you
What we do differently
- A price you can read without speaking to anyone
- Set up the same afternoon, by yourself
- One job, at a price a single location can afford
Which one should you buy
Pick them if you want the whole platform and somebody to run it. Pick us if you want to start today and know what it costs before you do.
Four questions that settle it
Do you want an inbox for your reviews?
If yes, Birdeye or another suite. We do not have one and are not building one.
How many locations are you running?
At 1 location the gap is a few tens of dollars a month. At 25 it is thousands, because we charge $5 a location.
Who is doing the asking?
If it is a crew out on jobs, they can text a name and number in from their own phone here, with nothing installed.
Do you want to start today?
We publish the price and you can sign up. Birdeye starts with a form and a call.
What moving over actually involves
- Your reviews stay where they are. They live on Google and the other review sites, not inside any tool. Nothing moves, and nothing is lost.
- Your review link does not change. We point at the same Google review page you already use.
- Bring your do not ask list. Upload the people you never want contacted, and they are blocked here too.
- Run both for a week if you like. Just make sure only 1 of them is asking a given customer, because we cannot see what another tool sent.
What you lose by leaving Birdeye
reviews, listings, social, surveys, webchat and payments in 1 platform, built for companies with hundreds of locations, a sales team and people who set it up for you. If you use any of those every week, keep them and treat us as the asking tool instead.
FiveStariz and Birdeye
How much does Birdeye cost?
They do not publish a price. We read their pricing page on 17 October 2026 and there was no number anywhere on it, only a form with a "Get pricing" button. Any figure you see on a comparison blog came from somewhere else, so we will not repeat it.
Is FiveStariz a Birdeye alternative?
Only for review requests. If you need listings management, social posting and surveys, we do not have those and a platform will suit you better.
Why does a published price matter?
It tells you where you stand before you spend an hour on a call. It also means the price is the same for you as for the person who negotiates harder.
