Chatmeter review

A multi location brand platform with listings, local pages, social, reviews and sentiment reporting.

Written by the team at FiveStariz, who sell a competing product. Every number here was read on chatmeter.com on 18 October 2026. We say where they beat us.

The short answer. Built for brands with 15 to 500 or more branches, and priced by location with unlimited users. No price is published, so a small business cannot compare them without a 3 step form. Their own writing on review ethics is good, which is worth noting.
PriceNo published price
Best forA brand with 15 or more locations that wants reporting from local manager up to the board.
Not forA single business, which their location bands barely acknowledge.

Their pricing page answers its own question with "It depends on what you need" and states the basis: priced by location, with unlimited users. Prices change, so check chatmeter.com before you decide.

What it is

What Chatmeter actually does

  • Listings sync, local landing pages, social publishing, reviews, surveys and reporting.
  • Their Pulse AI product for sentiment analysis across a large estate.
  • Automated review requests by email and text after an appointment.
  • Replies from a central dashboard with templates.
  • A managed service they call ChatExec, where their specialists do the work for you.

What Chatmeter does well

  • They publish the pricing basis even without the number: by location, with unlimited users. Most of this tier will not say that much.
  • Sentiment reporting across hundreds of branches is a real product and we have nothing like it.
  • A managed service option for teams that will not do the work.
  • Their own content warns against incentivising only positive reviews, and recommends taking complaints private in the public reply. That is the right advice.

Where it falls short

  • No price. The route to one is a 3 step form asking your location count, industry and contact details.
  • No trial is mentioned. The offer is a demo.
  • The unlimited users model only makes sense at scale.
  • No count of review sites read anywhere on their pages.
  • Their location bands start at 1 to 4 but the whole product is shaped for far more.

Chatmeter and FiveStariz

We make a competing product, so read this with that in mind. Our pricing page has our side of it, in full.

Questions

Chatmeter, answered

How much does Chatmeter cost?

They publish no price. We read their pricing page on 18 October 2026. They answer the question with "It depends on what you need". The basis they give is "We price by location, with unlimited users." Getting a number means completing a 3 step form.

Does Chatmeter do review gating?

We found no gating feature on their own pages. Their content goes the other way, warning that you cannot incentivise only positive reviews. We will give them credit for that.

Is Chatmeter a FiveStariz alternative?

Different buyer. They sell to brands with dozens or hundreds of branches on per location contracts. We sell the asking at $19 a month, or $5 a location from 10. We do not do listings, local pages or social.

Want the asking done for less?

FiveStariz is $19 a month, the price is on the page, and there is no setup fee.
