Reputation platform

Birdeye review

A full reputation and messaging platform for companies with a lot of locations, sold by a sales team.

Written by the team at FiveStariz, who sell a competing product. Every number here was read on birdeye.com on 18 October 2026. We say where they beat us.

The short answer. Serious software for a company with hundreds of branches and someone to run it. A single garage or clinic will never see the price without filling in a form, and will pay for a lot it does not use.
PriceNo published price
Best forBrands with many locations that want listings, social, surveys and webchat in 1 place, and have someone to run it.
Not forA single location that wants to start this afternoon and know the bill first.

Their pricing page carries no number. You fill in a form and wait for a call. Prices change, so check birdeye.com before you decide.

What it is

What Birdeye actually does

  • Reviews, listings, social posting, surveys, webchat and payments in 1 platform.
  • Built for companies with hundreds of locations, with a sales team and people who set it up for you.
  • The form on their pricing page asks for your email, company, number of locations, name and mobile number before it will discuss money. The location bands run from 1 to 3 up to 1,000 or more.
  • Their reply tool drafts an answer and, in their words, "posts on its own, or holds for approval".

What Birdeye does well

  • It really is a whole marketing platform, not a review tool with extras bolted on.
  • Listings management and social posting are real products inside it, which we do not have at all.
  • They will set it up for you, which matters at 200 branches.
  • Replies post back to the review site, with the option to approve each one first.

Where it falls short

  • No price anywhere on their own pricing page. You cannot compare them without talking to someone.
  • Their page says "one platform, one contract" but does not say how long the contract is.
  • No free plan and no trial are mentioned.
  • Every route to a number is a form that asks how many locations you have first.

Birdeye and FiveStariz

We make a competing product, so read this with that in mind. The comparison page has the long version, including the parts where they win.

Questions

Birdeye, answered

How much does Birdeye cost?

They do not publish a price. We read their pricing page on 18 October 2026 and found no number anywhere on it, only a form and a "Get pricing" button. Any figure you see in a comparison article came from somewhere else, so we will not repeat it.

Is Birdeye worth it for 1 location?

Probably not. The product is built for companies with many branches, and the buying process starts with a sales call. If you have 1 location and want to send review requests this week, a smaller tool will get you there faster and you will know the price first.

What is a good Birdeye alternative?

For review requests, FiveStariz starts at $19 a month with the price on the page. For listings management and social posting, Birdeye does things we do not, so compare on what you actually need.

Does Birdeye do review gating?

We found no gating wording on their review pages. They sell surveys as a separate product, but nothing we read describes screening people before the review ask.

Want the asking done for less?

FiveStariz is $19 a month, the price is on the page, and there is no setup fee.
