FiveStariz vs Trustpilot

FiveStariz and Trustpilot, side by side

We sell the asking. Trustpilot sells more than that, and charges for it. Here is the difference, with the parts they win left in.

FiveStariz

From $19

a month, on our pricing page. $5 per location from 10 locations, with your own brand included.

Trustpilot

From $99 a month

Per website, paid a year up front, on a 12 month contract.

What Trustpilot does that we do not

  • Reviews on Trustpilot, which some industries expect
  • Trust widgets for your website
  • A name shoppers in some countries know

What we do differently

  • Reviews on Google, where people searching for a local business look
  • No contract, and no year paid up front
  • A number of asks nobody counts
In fairness. Trustpilot is a review site as well as a tool. If your customers expect to see you there, or you sell online across countries, that profile is worth having and we cannot give you one.
The short answer

Which one should you buy

Pick them if Trustpilot reviews matter in your market. Pick us if your customers find you on Google Maps, which is where most local businesses get found.

Deciding

Four questions that settle it

Do you want an inbox for your reviews?

If yes, Trustpilot or another suite. We do not have one and are not building one.

How many locations are you running?

At 1 location the gap is a few tens of dollars a month. At 25 it is thousands, because we charge $5 a location.

Who is doing the asking?

If it is a crew out on jobs, they can text a name and number in from their own phone here, with nothing installed.

Do you want to start today?

We publish the price and you can sign up. Trustpilot will also let you start, at their price.

Switching

What moving over actually involves

  • Your reviews stay where they are. They live on Google and the other review sites, not inside any tool. Nothing moves, and nothing is lost.
  • Your review link does not change. We point at the same Google review page you already use.
  • Bring your do not ask list. Upload the people you never want contacted, and they are blocked here too.
  • Run both for a week if you like. Just make sure only 1 of them is asking a given customer, because we cannot see what another tool sent.

What you lose by leaving Trustpilot

reviews on trustpilot, which some industries expect, trust widgets for your website, a name shoppers in some countries know. If you use any of those every week, keep them and treat us as the asking tool instead.

Questions

FiveStariz and Trustpilot

Is Trustpilot better than Google reviews?

For a local business, Google is usually where the customers are. Someone looking for a plumber opens Maps. Trustpilot matters more for online shops and some financial services.

How many review invitations do we get?

Their plans count invitations: 50 a month free, 100 on the $99 plan, 300 on $319, 1,000 on $799, read on 17 October 2026. We do not count your email asks at all, and texts are included by plan.

Can I use both?

Yes. Put Trustpilot on your review page as 1 of your 3 buttons, and we will send people there as well as to Google.
