11 best Housecall Pro review alternatives
Housecall Pro includes review management from the $59 Basic plan, which is better than Jobber charging for it. The catch is where the reviews go. Their own help centre says Gmail customers are sent straight to Google and the rest are split between your Facebook page and a Housecall Pro hosted review page.

What sends people looking past Housecall Pro
Each of these came from their own pages, not from our opinion.
A share of your reviews lands on their domain
Their worked example is 40 per cent Google, 30 per cent Facebook, 30 per cent a page on their website. You did the work, they keep part of the asset.
Changing the split costs $90 a month
Distribution control is a Premium Reviews feature, which means the step from Basic at $59 to Essentials at $149.
You cannot reply on the Basic plan
Replying to a Google or Facebook review needs Essentials or higher.
Google and Facebook only
No Yelp and no trade sites. Bulk requests go by email only.
11 alternatives, in order
1. FiveStariz (our product)
$19 a month, 1 location. A free plan that sends email requests, plus a trial of everything.
Ours. The whole argument is 1 sentence. Every ask goes to the review site you chose, all of the time, and replying is never held back for a higher plan. $19 a month, and we connect to Housecall Pro so the job can still trigger the ask.
2. Jobber Reviews
$39 a month, on top of your Jobber plan. Not available during a trial.
The other big trade platform. Their Reviews add on is $39 a month and sends 100 per cent to Google, with no split. Google only, and 1 ask per customer every 6 months.
3. TrueReview
$29 a month, paid yearly. 14 day trial with 250 free sends.
$29 a month paid yearly, with 250 free sends in the trial and no routing games.
4. Reviewgrower
$37 a month, free plan available. A real free plan, no texts on it.
$37 a month with a free tier and 85 or more sites read.
5. NiceJob
$75 a month. 14 day trial.
$75 a month, built for trades, with referral campaigns on the higher plan.
6. HiFiveStar
$39 a month. A free plan that cannot send requests.
$39 a month with drafted replies and reply posting, which Housecall Pro holds back for $149. Check their rating step setting.
7. pulseM
No published price. None offered.
Fires from the dispatch system and names the technician, which is the best trigger here. No published price.
8. ServiceTitan
No published price. None mentioned.
Only if you are outgrowing Housecall Pro entirely. Reviews sit in the unpriced Marketing Pro bundle, and their internal feedback setting puts a smiley face rating before the Google link.
9. GatherUp
$99 a month, then $60 a location. 14 day trial.
$99 for 1 location, with monitoring across 100 or more sites and a published anti gating stance.
10. Reply Champion
$10 a month, 1 to 2 locations. 7 day trial, no card.
$10 a month for 50 requests, which is cheaper than the $90 step up inside Housecall Pro.
11. ReputationStacker
$63 a location a month, paid yearly. 14 day trial.
From $63 a location, with published tiers. Ask what their review funnel does.
How we picked these
- We read the price on each company's own website on 18 October 2026 and wrote down the date. Nothing came from a blog or a comparison article.
- Where a company publishes no price, the list says so instead of repeating a figure from somewhere else.
- We checked each one for review filtering, and we quote the vendor's own words rather than guessing.
- We left in the tools that beat us, and said what they do better.
- We put our own product first and labelled it, because hiding that would make this an advert.
Prices change. Check the vendor's own page before you decide anything.
Housecall Pro alternatives, answered
Where do Housecall Pro review requests actually go?
Their help centre explains the default. Customers with a Gmail address go straight to Google, and the rest are split between your Facebook page and a Housecall Pro hosted review page. Their own example is 40 per cent Google, 30 per cent Facebook, 30 per cent their site. You can turn that off from Essentials up.
Does Housecall Pro include review requests?
Yes, on every plan including Basic at $59 a month billed yearly, read on 18 October 2026. What Basic does not include is control over where requests go, or replying to a Google review. Both arrive with Premium Reviews on Essentials at $149.
How do I send all my reviews to Google in Housecall Pro?
Turn off "Optimize requests for me" under Actions and then Edit distribution, and set Google to 100 per cent. Their help centre lists that control as part of Premium Reviews, which is Essentials and above.
Is a separate review tool worth it if Housecall Pro includes one?
If you are on Essentials or Max and happy with Google and Facebook, probably not. On Basic you are splitting your reviews across 3 places and cannot reply, and a $19 tool fixes both for less than the $90 step up.
