| Price | $19 a month |
| Best for | A business in Europe that wants reviews and local rank tracking cheaply. |

Their Starter review plan, shown as net. Their own pages also show it at $9 and $49, so confirm in writing. Prices change, so check ratingcaptain.com before you decide.

What Rating Captain does well
- $19 net a month for the entry review plan is at the bottom of this market.
- A genuinely free local SEO tier at $0, with 1 location.
- An unusual refund promise: if you collect no reviews on the connected sites, they refund the full fee within 30 days.
- No card required to start a trial, in their own words.
- The platform count is published per tier, which most tools will not do.
Where it falls short
- Their reviews pricing page shows 4 plan names and no prices at all.
- Their own pages disagree. We found the entry review plan at $19, $15, $9 and $49 depending on which page we read.
- The Voyager tier is listed as 1 location in the cards and 1 to 10 elsewhere.
- Prices are shown as net, so tax is on top.
- The Starter review plan connects 1 review platform.
- The free trial has no stated length anywhere.

Rating Captain, answered
How much does Rating Captain cost?
It depends which of their pages you read, and that is the honest answer. On 18 October 2026 their pricing page showed review plans at $19, $49, $99 and $165 net a month. The local SEO plans were $0, $9, $69, $149 and $249 net. Their reviews pricing page showed no prices. Get the figure in writing before you pay.
Does Rating Captain do review gating?
Nothing on their pricing pages describes a rating step before the review ask. The closest wording is "Automate communication with dissatisfied customers", which reads as following up with unhappy people rather than stopping them posting.
Does Rating Captain really refund you if you get no reviews?
Their FAQ says that if you do not collect any review on the connected review websites, they will refund the full subscription fee within 30 days. That is a real commitment and more than we offer. Read the exact terms before relying on it.
