What Trustindex actually does
- Review widgets and badges for your website, with a large library of layouts.
- A review summary page, and social feed widgets.
- Collection by email campaign, QR code and NFC cards. There is no text sending.
- A mature WordPress plugin, which is how most of their users arrive.
- Replies only through the paid AI reply add on, charged per source per year.

What Trustindex does well
- The price. $65 a year is less than 4 months of our Solo plan.
- Free features are usable forever, with a 7 day trial of the paid ones.
- The widget library is far bigger and better than ours.
- 133 platforms for display, which no one else matches.
- Multi language interface, and NFC cards included in the idea.
Where it falls short
- No text requests at all. Email, QR and NFC only.
- Billed yearly and auto renewing, so there is no monthly option.
- Replies cost extra, at $29 per source per year.
- The 133 platforms are for showing reviews, not reading them back for you to act on.
- Their own homepage counter renders as "0 Review Platforms", so the page is not well maintained.

How much is Trustindex?
$65, $125 and $349 a year, read on their prices page on 18 October 2026. Note the live path is /prices/ because /pricing/ returns an error. Paid features have a 7 day trial, after which you drop back to the free package.
Does Trustindex send review requests?
By email, QR code and NFC card, yes. By text, no. Their collection page lists email campaigns, QR codes and NFC cards only. For a trade business that sends a text after the job, that is the gap.
Is Trustindex a FiveStariz alternative?
Only partly, and we will be straight about it. If you want reviews displayed on your site, they are better and far cheaper. If you want customers asked by text after a job, with the reply handled and the reviews read back, that is what we do. A plumber who only wants a widget should buy Trustindex.
