Synup review

Listings, review monitoring and review generation priced in location bands, with an agency tier.

Written by the team at FiveStariz, who sell a competing product. Every number here was read on synup.com on 18 October 2026. We say where they beat us.

The short answer. Fine at 1 location with a 14 day trial. The pricing bands are the problem. A 2 location business jumps from $49 to $299 a month, which is a strange cliff to put in front of a growing company.
Price$49 a month
Best forA single location business, or an agency with 25 or more client locations.
Not forA business with exactly 2 or 3 locations.

Solo, for 1 location. The next band up is $299 a month for 2 to 10 locations. Prices change, so check synup.com before you decide.

What it is

What Synup actually does

  • Listings pushed to 100 or more publishers, voice assistants and data aggregators.
  • Review generation by email, text, QR code or a shared link.
  • Review monitoring with drafted replies and an approvals inbox.
  • A private feedback form, shared by its own link, as a parallel channel.
  • Local rank tracking, locator pages and an agency command centre.
The bill

What Synup charges

From their own pricing page on 18 October 2026.

PlanPriceWhat it covers
Solo$491 location.
Premium$299Up to 10 locations, about $30 each.
Pro$499Up to 25 locations, about $20 each.
Scale$899Up to 50 locations, about $18 each.
EnterpriseCustom50 locations or more, on a contract.

Ours, for the same job: $19 for 1 location, $29 with a team, $5 per location from 10 with your own brand on it.

What Synup does well

  • Requests can go out by email, text, QR code or 1 shared link, and every route lands on the review sites you chose.
  • Their private feedback form is a separate channel with its own link, not an automatic diversion. That is the honest way to build it.
  • Listings to 100 or more publishers.
  • A 14 day trial of the Solo plan.
  • Per location it gets cheap at scale, about $18 each on the Scale plan.

Where it falls short

  • The jump from 1 location at $49 to 2 locations at $299 is brutal.
  • Their own page warns that starting a paid Premium subscription charges you immediately and the trial does not apply.
  • Text sending needs you to register for US A2P messaging and hold a dedicated number.
  • No review source count published.
  • A note on the page says credit allowances are quadrupled for launch, with no end date.

Questions

Synup, answered

How much does Synup cost?

Solo is $49 a month for 1 location, Premium $299 for up to 10, Pro $499 for up to 25 and Scale $899 for up to 50. Enterprise is custom. We read these on their pricing page on 18 October 2026. There is a 14 day trial on the Solo plan only.

Does Synup do review gating?

No, from what they publish. Review generation points at the sites you choose and every channel lands there. They also sell a private feedback form, but it is shared by its own link rather than shown to unhappy customers automatically. That is a real difference.

What is a Synup alternative for 2 locations?

This is where we would make the case hardest. Their 2 location price is $299 a month. Ours is $29 for a team, and from 10 locations it is $5 each. They do listings and rank tracking, and we do not.

Want the asking done for less?

FiveStariz is $19 a month, the price is on the page, and there is no setup fee.
