Review widgets

EmbedSocial review

A widget platform that collects and displays reviews, with a permanent free plan and paid tiers from $29.

Written by the team at FiveStariz, who sell a competing product. Every number here was read on embedsocial.com on 18 October 2026. We say where they beat us.

The short answer. Strong at showing reviews on your website and weak at asking for them. The pricing is honest and cheap, with a free plan that never expires. If you want a text campaign after every job, this is the wrong shape of product.
PriceFree, then $29 a month
Best forA business that wants its Google, Facebook and Trustpilot reviews displayed well on its own site.
Not forA trade business that needs customers asked by text after a job.

Pro is $29 a month, Pro Plus $49 and Premium $99. Yearly billing saves 20 per cent, though yearly figures are not shown. Prices change, so check embedsocial.com before you decide.

  • A permanent free plan with 1 source and 500 views a month.

  • They also own Localith, a separate Google listing tool priced from $9 a month for 2 locations.

Ours, for the same job: $19 for 1 location, $29 with a team, $5 per location from 10 with your own brand on it.

What EmbedSocial does well

  • A permanent free plan, not a trial.
  • $29 a month for a serious widget platform is good value.
  • Trustpilot importing, which few tools here support at all.
  • Your card is not charged during the trial, stated plainly.
  • Yearly billing saves 20 per cent.

Where it falls short

  • The pricing page never describes sending review requests. Collecting reviews is listed in their navigation with no detail or price.
  • No count of supported review sites.
  • The free plan is 1 source and 500 views a month, which a busy site will pass quickly.
  • Yearly prices are advertised as cheaper but never shown.
  • Nothing about the review flow is documented, so gating cannot be judged either way.

Questions

EmbedSocial, answered

How much is EmbedSocial?

There is a permanent free plan at $0 with 1 source and 500 views a month. Pro is $29 a month, Pro Plus $49 and Premium $99, with Enterprise quoted. We read these on their pricing page on 18 October 2026. Paid plans have a 7 day trial and your card is not charged during it.

Does EmbedSocial send review requests?

Their pricing page does not say. A "Collect Reviews" feature exists in their navigation, with no detail and no price attached to it. What the pricing page clearly sells is displaying reviews you already have.

EmbedSocial or FiveStariz?

Different jobs. They put your existing reviews on your website properly, and their free plan costs nothing. We ask your customers for new reviews by text and email at $19 a month. Plenty of businesses need both, and they are not alternatives to each other.

Want the asking done for less?

FiveStariz is $19 a month, the price is on the page, and there is no setup fee.
